A 1:50000 map wasn't much help - the footpaths bore no resemblance to the map, so taking a grid ref from the map, and switching on the handheld GPS guided us here.
At first I was disappointed with the place - just one stone remaining upright - but discovering several other stones, and enjoying the pre-sunset glow, it was a pleasing finish to the end of a wonderful day. 12/04/10. |
