This shows the eroded depression in the top of the stone. The water came from heavy rainfall while Newcastle United were losing to Fulham. As can be seen from the other rocks around the stone it is quite difficult to initially find the standing stone. There are far bigger rocks within 200 m which immediately catch the eye when walking across the moor. |
