Its been rebuilt with the very same shape. | ivanjohnson (2011-02-03) | I was struck by this photo because it contextualizes the subject so well. It is called a "fount" here, so I wonder if it is actually a spring or perhaps an outlet from an aqueduct. It does not look like a well. If it is a spring some of the stonework could be quite old. |
