(2010-08-07) | I often think that these decorated and painted stones in India and other parts of Asia suggest what may have been done at stone circles and menhirs in Europe, too, ages ago. I don't doubt the stones were decorated and painted at special times. In the North American West some stones were known to have been painted red or even striped for certain times of year. |
