Naga Goddesses -the village guardians
,Nagas were Aryan tribes which, had serpent as their totem. They worshipped serpents and consider them to be their protector deities. They also used to wear artificial hoods of cobra on their heads.
They were the indigenous Kshatriyas of India. They ruled all over India during various periods of history and pre-historic time. |
