Large pre-dynastic (3850-3650 BCE) limestone lion head as found by Flinder Petrie and brought back to Oxford Aschmolean Museum.
Pre dynastic artifacts are relatively rare. The Coptos/Gebtu temple itself consisted of Mud Brick and wooden columns, which are now largely eroded.
