Except for the capstones this is a largely well preserved chamber with 6 orthostats on each long side (orthostat NE2 missing) . Length 9,5m (7,5m clear). The lateral entrance is located in the south-west between orthostats SW3 and SW4. When Schroller and Schwieger examined the site in 1929 the chamber was partly embedded into remains of an oval barrow with all remaining orthostats still in situ. Two capstone fragments were preserved as well. The site was excavated in 1968 by Voß et. al.. As it seems the missing orthostat of the SE narrow side was replaced or refound. The chamber was partly filled with earth again afterwards, most probably for reason of statics. Original clear height was 1,6m. Furthermore there are 6 larger erratics beside the tomb, which were not included in Schwieger's drawing, possibly these are moved kerb-stones of the enclosure. According to the information panel the cap- and the kerbstones were robbed in the 19th century to abuse as building material for a bridge.
