|Description ||Pole aerial view of chambers' centre. The whole chamber is deeply embedded into the significant remains of its oval barrow. Most orthostats and several kerbstones are also preserved, but all largely covered by eroded earthwork. I marked the location of the assumed passage. This type of late funnel beaker passage-graves usually had a short lateral passage in the middle of the S/SE/SW long side. As the site was abused as quarry in historic times, most capstones and parts of the enclosure are robbed. |
