Description Reconstruction of the part with the statues. The statues measure 110 cm and 95cm and are carved from oak planks. The larger one was interpreted as a male (on the left) the smaller one as female. The male statue is 5-7cm thick, the female statue 2-3cm. Two similar, but less refined statues were discovered in 1970 at another part. Similar plank statues are also known from a plank track in Westerwanna and from Montbouy in France for example.
