Preserved are an orthostat in the West (most probably the chamber end-stone and three pairs of orthostats of the long-sides covered by three capstones.
The eastern chamber end is uncertain. Sprockhoff et al. were unsure if the remains represent the western end of an originally longer chamber or an extended dolmen (this would be unusual in this area). The southern orthostats S1 and S2 are moved downslope and as a result the capstones No. 1 and 2 (counting from the West) are out of place.
The stone marked "?" does not appear on Schwieger's ground-plan (for Atlas der Megalithgräber), so it seems to be moved here in recent times. July 2010 |
