Clear size of this large 8 capstone chamber was 17 x 3m (Sprockhoff et al.). The orthostats visible in this picture are almost in situ. Unfortunately the orthostats of the opposite site were torn out of place except for one. As a result all capstones collapsed into the chamber. Three capstones are damaged by blasting attempts. The site was rather overgrown in 1989, but a local club cared for it now. February 2008 |
