This is a massive stone built long barrow, over 50 metres long and 25 wide, and still at least 4 metres in height, on a northwest southeast axis. It seems that the barrow was originally surrounded by walling.
This is a view from the northeast. There are probably several more chambers to be found within this awesome tomb. |
