Views like this make me think that we of this time are missing out on something. |

It reminds me of Moor Divock in Cumbria, with the long views over the moor to the mountains in the distance. Its the scared peak of Blencathra that you can see from Moor Divock. | AngieLake (2005-03-01) | Lovely sharp pic and lovely comment, Sem. You give the mountain personality. When we go to these places we're seeing the landscape (which has changed so little) with virtually the same eyes as our ancient ancestors, and the peace and quiet allows us to tap in to the spirituality of it all. That makes it so special for me, anyway. | NicolaDidsbury (2005-03-01) | Well put Angie, thats exactly what how it feels for me too. | Thorgrim (2005-03-01) | Its so hard to photograpgh a site like this - stone circles are always difficult, but this doubly so. Sem has done it beautifuly by concentrating our attention on the foreground stone and then leading us on and into the picture with the lovely snow capped hills in the background. It could have been just another poor shot of an obscure circle, but its not - its great. | Wetavenger (2005-03-23) | class picture m8, keep up the good work | davidmilner (2005-05-24) | as said terrific photo...................want to go there...NOW!!!! |
