(2005-12-22) | Has no one told them that it's sunset that is the significant event at Stonehenge at the midwinter solstice? (Julian Richards and Clive Ruggles) What exactly are they waiting for? Why does EH not allow access for the sunset? Because they want their own photographers to have a crowd less space for the real event. These misguided hopefuls have paid for a non event. (2005-12-22) | I didn't look at any of the details about the Winter Solstice at stonehenge, but had assumed that it would be at sunset, like you say. Surprised to find that its the sunrise that they let people in for. |
