reading the book of Richard E. Leakey, the Making of Mankind from 1982 got my mind spinning reading about the two clay Bisons found in the Tuc D'Audoubert, untouched and unseen for 15.000 years.
The time was back in the early 80's, but the cave was not open to the public and very difficult to find. But the cave was found and a collappsible canoe brought us in there after the long drive from Norway to the environs of Ste.Croix in the french Pyrénées.
Le Tuc02 PART TWO
Got the canoe together and paddled into the mountain in search of the two bisons, seeing the daylight disappeare behind us.
