Intriguing translation here to go with Michel Leduc's photo and description. Two menhirs stand at the entrance to the village of Lacabarede – that much is clear - then I resorted to Babelfish which says “of share and d' autresq d' a martyrdom”
So perhaps there’s a folk tale about two sisters who were martyred here, please enlighten us if you’ve heard that story.
