Iron Age Hillfort above Village of Jelse on Hvar Island as seen from the West with local Archeologist Josip Visnic
Built by native Dalmatian Illyrians with some Greek influence.
Lower blocks are up to 2 meters wide and 1 meter tall.
Entire tower is about 7.2 x 6.2 meter in area and up to 8 Meters tall at the highest location. |
