Contact them for permission to reproduce it. | | | Description | Outdoor rectangular bathing pool containing the submerged St Beuno’s Stone which can be seen in the photo nearer to the front of the pool than the steps and hand rail in the rear left corner. The well chamber behind the pool is a fine example of late perpendicular architecture creating an almost square crypt covering the wellhead. Around the well, graceful columns rise to support an elaborate vaulted roof which in turn supports St Winifrede’s Chapel above. Once, steps led from the well up to the chapel.
