Description Yippee! The National Trust has chosen my photograph for its official Hatfield Forest Christmas card. Image shown here is only a low resolution version of course. That makes two this year as the Stop Stansted Expansion campaign chose another - see here

lovely picture. but it makes me wonder just when you get that much snow in Essex. I never see that much in these parts.

That photo was taken about 12 years ago. Ditto the one for Stop Stansted Expansion. Global warming really is making snow rare so if we get any snow fall - get out there with your cameras because card and calendar publishers will want them. Sunshine on snow is a vital ingredient and exposure can be tricky if you want to avoid grey snow.
