The son of Ptah and Sekhmet, was said to have risen from the lotus into the nostrils of Ra - going forth from the horizon.
Nefertem (Nefertumu) was the third god in the trinity worshipped at Memphis. Often depicted striding out wearing lotus blossoms on his head and carrying an ankh. He is the principal god of the lotus. |
