(2005-12-21) | I didn't realise that it was winter solstice - but it was - and this my offering. I took it this afternoon. When I packed up the camera, I noticed a what I think was a witch thing (tied twigs) hanging in a tree near the barrow. It spooked me a little, because its so quiet and lonely there in the forest. I then became completely disorientated - like a replay of blairwitch! I had forgot my maps and compass.
