A jumble of 110 tombs for 300 burials, in shapes of rectangles, circles, horseshoes or inverted ship structures - facing east right next to the Mediterranean. Many of the tombs have 2, maybe three depressions - assuming burial spaces?
The best route to approach was parking in the furthest SE corner of Son Baulo from Can Picafort, then 20 minutes steady walk along the shoreline will pick it up. Getting here before 9am should give you almost complete solitude. After then, there seems to be a steady procession of individuals and groups. |
