In the top right hand corner are four persons holding an oval object. To quote the guide book - "[one] is squatting as if giving birth and this scene might be associated with a fertility ritual and beliefs about the beginning of life". Whatever they are doing, there are few places where you can see contemporary images of bronze age life. Fascinating. |
