|Well, blow me down, me 'arties! Oi wuz on that thur coastal paath only two daze ago! Lookin fur thaat 'Giant's Footprint'! (Did'un git kwite zo 'oi up az yew!) Yew'm priddy viddy, me dear! What be ee doin' praancin' around loik thaat? Did 'ee win that there Lottery Jaackpot???|
|What you do is go down to Chapel Porth,go up on the right hand foot path to the valley.Walk straight up the valley avoiding adders and you will see a rock with a sort of footprint on it.You might notice the background where I am is the same as my storm photo, the storm was brewing and so was I,hence Happy as Larry.|
|The NT man told me to follow that path, and I did, until I was quite high up. He said 'When you sit on a seat (he said 2nd, and this was at least 3rd - fantastic sea views!) you will see the stone down below you.' The only place this occurred was where a smallish block of stone seemed to be perched on top of a long grassy mound in a shallow gully below me, and a bit to my left, which wasn't so accessible to me - wearing unsuitable open sandals!
(Have just re-checked my camcorder film of it, and there didn't appear to be any paths leading to it, which means it probably wasn't the stone!)|
