(2006-05-10) | Is that dark pillar in the middle of the chamber a relatively modern addition to help hold the roof up, or is it original ? I would think it unusual to actually reach to the capstones if it was an original part of the structure, based on what I have seen in France, where stones like this within large chambers stop short of the top. | AngieLake
