(2005-10-11) | Despite several previous visits, I hadn't heard of Ashey; now I've found that there was a locomotive of that name. Since my Shetland Sheepdog is named Ash (we always call him 'Ashey'), and I'm interested in steam railways, I'm having an exact replica nameplate made. This will quarantee a visit to Ashey Down when we next visit the Iof W next year! | RingPaw
(2006-07-21) | Where was this taken from - the road to Brading? Are the barrows & pillow mounds visible? The image on my computer isn't sharp enough really. |
