Contact them for permission to reproduce it. | | | Description | There were once four barrows on the knoll of Stagbury Hill, lined up roughly from north to south. When the hill was used as a rabbit warren the barrow mounds were used as rabbit buries, and so they are in rather poor condition today. The barrow here is beneath the bracken and gorse bushes (on the left). Stagbury is a local high-point in the landscape; in this photo the downs of Hampshire and Wiltshire can be seen in the far distance. |
