(2011-04-03) | The water is crystal clear and sweet to the taste - almost has the taste of snow ! The well takes its name from the field that it is located in and the field probably gets its name from the fact that it is quite high up on the lower slopes of Kinder Scout and therefore prone to the moorland mists. |
