| Posted Comments: rich32 (2006-03-26) | Twentytrees, don’t know whether you can help with this, or not, but according to Magic theres 2 possible features in this area, a Platform Cairn with an 18m diameter & a possible round barrow with a 9m diameter. What were the dimensions of this rather wonderful looking monument?
If it’s the former, then this scheduling doc is an interesting read:

| twentytrees (2006-03-26) | Thanks rich32. I've looked at magic (excellent - thanks for the link - it will be very useful in future!) and confirmed that the picture is very probably the Platform Cairn referred to. Needs another visit to confirm the dimensions and the Grid Reference which is slightly different. Well worth visiting. |
