This was an unbroken line of trees when I visited a few months previously, now some are blown down, - one has landed on circle 'B'.
Notice the trig point pillar at the left which stands at the top of a step bank down to the roadside.
(As the road is out of sight just here, to see this site on Google Streetview you have to take a look from a point down the road (SE) at the bend. From here you can see the trig point and at this distance it's just a couple pixels!) |
