(2004-03-22) | Close inspection of the stone indicates the pattening near break at one end to match up quite well with one of the broken stone stumps.
It is probable the stone piece became overgrown/buried over a period of time. The culvert modification made mid 20th century by a local agriculturist utilised a convenient stone that had been unearthed.
