Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This is the stile which allows access to the field where the cross lies on the other side of the low bank, centre left. Sennen church tower is visible in the distance, between the stile uprights.
On this evening in May I had followed the footpath around the edge of the field to this stile, and once in the planted field, stepped very carefully between the crop to the low hedge where the cross is situated. You can see where others have done this and worn a slight track, just above the step of the stile.
The whole area is criss-crossed with ancient churchpaths. For more info, look in 'Journey to the Stones' by Ian McNeil Cooke, page 249. |
