(2009-01-05) | I assume that the top of this stone has been broken off at some time, leaving the shapely top. I didn't notice at the time of my visit, but the edge of the stone looks to have been shaped at some time.
Perhaps somebody at some point tried to make a shaped stone for building, or perhaps even a cross ? |
