Yes, this was taken in August - don't be fooled by the overcast sky and soggy ground. There are plans afoot for the commoners at Boskednan to graze cattle on the moors. If it happens, and its not done properly, this circle could end up like the Nine Stones of Altarnun on Bodmin - over-grazed grass cropped down to ground level, and each stone surrounded by a deep moat formed by the feet of cows using the stones as scratching posts. |
