Leave Helston on the A394 heading towards Trewennack. Pass the Caravan Park on the left and pull into the gateway of Trelil Farm cottage and farm sheds on your right. With the farm buidings on your right, to your left is a field that slopes down to a steam. Head down to the stream and away from the road to the north eastern corner of the field. The well is just over the gate in the next field.
The wellhouse sits beside a stream and water from both as well as cattle in the field all combine to make a very wet and messy approach to the well.
