Description This holy well is built into the side of a hill just to the right of the church and is approached via a sunken path. It consists of a large opening and a smaller niche. A granite seat is provided just to the left of the structure. Water from the well used to be used for baptisms in the church but it was dry when we visited.

As you park in the church carpark don’t be fooled by the water that pours out of the facing wall …. that’s not the well but I wonder if water that used to be in the well has found an alternative escape route?
