From the edge of the shadow you get a view like this - it's not a wonky photo, the somewhat phallic stone really does lean like this. Someone had left an "offering" of a half-eaten egg sandwich under the stone. Nice. |

(2005-08-28) | Ah - the cult of the Sacred Fried-Egg Sandwich! Nice dramatic shot, possibly enhanced if not quite so tightly cropped. A step or two back might have retained the drama, but given the stone a bit of "breathing space" | JimChampion
(2005-08-28) | Sadly I was constrained by the low angle and the large amount of prickly stuff on the ground. I really wanted a dramatic sky too, but sadly nature wasn't feeling generous on that evening. |
