These are the relevant heads. Oddly enough, COFLEIN also has a pre-1960 photo of another sculptured head, this being on the interior wall above the same door.
The pre-1960 COFLEIN photos show that the external heads have suffered significantly from weathering over the past 50 years or so - I hope someone has taken a caste of them before their features disappear completely. |
