This was taken one gloriously sunny evening in May 2002. The views over Trearddur Bay are stunning, and I would guess that the distant hills must be on the Lleyn Peninsula, on the south side of Caernarfon Bay. This site is actually on Holy Island, but joined to Anglesey (Ynys Mon) by several roads.
(The horses were both there on my visit too, and very inquisitive. One came right up behind my shoulder as I walked away, which was quite unnerving - I told him I had nothing for him, and he left me alone!) |
