Description Dawn on Mynydd Twr looking towards Garn Cairn.

By repute Capel Llochwydd and an associated well are near here, further down towards the base of the cliff. Folklore says the Romans had a temple here with a golden statue of a female goddess.
I will never be going down there to look.

Capel Llochwydd is located to the right of the path up Garn Cairn and the well is in the crevice - now sadly lost since a landslide. A gold medallion of Constantine was found here and 10 gold Constantine coins were found in a nearby peat bog.
