|Description ||Dawn on Mynydd Twr looking towards Garn Cairn.|
By repute Capel Llochwydd and an associated well are near here, further down towards the base of the cliff. Folklore says the Romans had a temple here with a golden statue of a female goddess.
I will never be going down there to look.
| Capel Llochwydd is located to the right of the path up Garn Cairn and the well is in the crevice - now sadly lost since a landslide. A gold medallion of Constantine was found here and 10 gold Constantine coins were found in a nearby peat bog. |
