Returning to Lligwy Burial Chamber, the extent of the ploughing, or not ploughing, was interesting.
A group of stones was clearly visible to the west of the main site; following the plough line, what appear to be kerb stones are within the earth, and a good amount of boulders and loose stones abound to the south of the monument. Arguably, all these could be part of monument, as the farmer has chosen not to move these out of the way.

(2006-04-25) | Could they be bed rock- I got the feeling the chamber was built on a a rocky outcrop, and the info panel seemed to suggest this also. |
