(2006-04-29) | Ok, so I'm getting on a bit, but I must be going senile too. This isn't the main round 'house' but one of the other, minor ones!! Doh!
The stones of this settlement are really amazing, so thought it worth including despite the fuzziness of this pic. | nicoladidsbury
(2006-05-01) | The stones are amazing angie. They are so big. I found it very hard to believe that it is a 3rd centrury Romano/British farm stead. Those stones must have taken a great deal of effort to move into place. It felt like a religious/sacred/learning site to me. But that was probably just my fanciful thinking..... |
