We could not ascertain if this figure was a Sheela Na Gig. The CADW guidebook did not mention it, neither did the church leaflet. So, is that a yes, but embarrassed to admit it? Nonetheless, much here to ponder and take in. The truncated side of the cross is due to it having been used as a lintel for a window on occasion. |

Must go back there myself - have always had an ambition to get across to Puffin Island (Priestholm) | nicoladidsbury (2006-02-26) | Excellent picture, the carvings are so crisp, looks like they were done yesterday, not over a 1000 years ago, with a period of being a lintel in between! |
