(2012-07-02) | I'm one of those who loves rapeseed fields - the yellow is so cheerful and I wish the flowers lasted longer. However, I've come across many who despise it. | Runemage
(2012-07-02) | It's pretty to look at from a distance but close-up it's responsible for more URTI's than any other single plant. That's Upper Respiratory Tract Infections - mainly restricted breathing, wheezing, asthma etc. Often these reactions occur in people who have no previous chesty symptoms.
Other pretty crops that don't have those effects are sunflowers, lavender, borage and linseed/flax. | holger rix
