(2010-11-22) | This is stone is called 'The Vitalianus Stone'. It commemorates Vortimer, son of king Vortigern. The Ogham inscription reads: VITALIANI or The Stone of Vitalianus, while the Latin inscription is VITALIANI EMERETO or 'The Stone of Vitalianus'. This Christianized stone was carved in the 5th-6th century CE. | jess
