Our ancestors may have preferred to have had dry land below them for hunting, but I rather liked having the sea to help set off the rising sun. In case anyone wonders, no- the picture hasn't been alterred at all, this is just as seen...wonderful!

| Posted Comments: AngieLake (2007-09-10) | Did you spend the night in the cave pab??? | pab (2007-09-11) | Not quite...up with the monks for their 3.30 chant, then back for couple of hours sleep and up at 6 for the short walk to the cave! It was just too rare an opportunity to miss - and one of the wonderful things about staying on the island...the first boat doesn't get there till 10.30. First time I had stayed, but amazing way to recharge the old batteries! |
