(2006-03-11) | Sure it is! Thats why leprechauns wear luminous green. The sun had just come out, the grass and limestone were soaking wet. Add a polariser and voila! Then again I have my monitor dulled down a bit to match exactly the prints I get from the Fuji Frontier printers photobox and my local place use. | KenWilliams
(2006-03-11) | I may have to use two profiles for my monitor, one for prinitng and one for web! The pics look fine on mine but on the friends pc here they are OTT :) I used to get seriously dull prints from photobox so I had to make my monitor match them as mentioned above. Trust me, they aren't nearly as vivid on my monitor and prints | AngieLake

(2006-03-11) | I always adjust for printing. The monitor is a rough and ready viewer at best and each of us will see images slightly different on our own screens. So many variables and that is why I am holding back from shooting RAW and having to work back to natural. Your photos are well composed and eye catching, but I have never been certain about the colours (just my opinion) I could never figure out if you were deliberately enriching colours for artistic effect or if you just couldn't get natural colours sorted. Having read from that guy on t'other side that he spends 16 hours trying to get a RAW image right - I just wondered...
No offence intended, but (apart from using a digital compact) the digital revolution hasn't reached me yet and I'm wondering how much longer I can avoid it. | nicoladidsbury
(2006-03-13) | I think this is lovely, I particularly like the sharp detail of the tree on the horizon, and the way it catches the low sunlight. And the rainbow is just the finishing touch. Beautiful. |
