Easily accessible from the R571. Taking the left fork at 708559 (Discovery Map 84), then immediatly left again and up the narrow track. Looks unpromising but persevere until a helpful little car park (2 cars) at the end, and a well-marked stile and path lead towards the circle. The gorse is more overgrown now than in previously-submitted photos, but the height and proximity of the stones gives an intimate feel. Great ambience. |
