On the NW slopes of Musherabeg Mountain, Knocknakilla, the "stone of the church", is almost a twin to the megalithic complex at Kealkil (cf): both sites consist of a five-stone ring, a pair of standing stones and a radial cairn. Of the two pillar stones, one is now prostrate the other being the dominant feature in the complex standing 3.7m in height. The stones would originally have been just over 3.5m apart and aligned NNE-SSW.

(2003-09-03) | Johnny, Thanks for the pictures! My sister & I visited this circle in Sept. 1995. There is a hollowed out circular impression on the standing stone. She placed her hand on it, and had quite good luck in the following months. I placed my hand on it after her, and had quite bad luck afterwards, with a physical ailment worsening, also.
