Also, when you see old wall-paintings in churches, you realise how much those older, illiterate, generations were enticed into these places to learn about Christianity. | minteddy (2007-08-12) | Curious to know why Manchester Museum has replicas of the Ruthwell Cross and Bewcastle Cross? The photograph echoes the setting of the actual Ruthwell Cross in the church in Ruthwell. |
